About us

Co-operatives North East (CNE) is a regional co-operative council.
 
Membership of CNE is free and it is open to any person, society, company, firm or association who wishes to help develop and use its services. Members should be committed to actively furthering the interests of co‑operation; willing to offer support to co‑operatives; assisting in representing the sector and building a co‑operative network in the North East. If you would like to join CNE, please download the Membership Application Form at the bottom of this page.
 
CNE is overseen by a board of 8 directors and a Company Secretary/Treasurer elected at our AGM. The current members of our board are:

The board has commissioned Judith Brown to help develop CNE and The Communications Co-operative  to provide marketing support.
